Busy Busy!

Last week was another busy week, with Techniquest visiting us not once but twice! The children enjoyed the Maths Detective activity, applying a wide range of maths skills to help catch a criminal! On Friday, they were lucky enough to enjoy a Forces workshop, exploring lots of different hands on activities and really putting their scientific thinking to the test!

We've also been using the iPads to plan our information texts all about Wales. The app we've been using, Popplet, allows the children to structure their thinking and is a wonderful way to plan for writing.

All children should now have working passwords for Matheletics, Purple Mash and Hwb. Please try to explore these resources as hopefully they'll be another excellent way to extend learning out of the classroom. Please let me know if there's any problems!

Here's some photos of the past week:

Eisteddfod 2014

Hi all!

Just a note to let you know how hard the children worked for our Eisteddfod, producing some fantastic work for their competition entries. We're incredibly proud of their efforts in Dosbarth Saith! Picking the winners was extremely difficult as the standard of work was so high but a big well done to those who were chosen. We're also really proud of how the children performed their poems, readings and songs on stage. Their Welsh speaking continues to progress and impress!

Please enjoy some of the photos and videos below of Class 7 in Eisteddfod action!
