Hi all! Despite it being a really short half-term we've been really busy in school with lots going on! I'm incredibly proud of all the class for how they tackled the National Tests- they really did all do their best which is really pleasing.
Before Easter we took two teams of footballers from Y3 right through to Y6 to play in a football tournament at Penydarren Park. Just like the tournament before Christmas, the children were superb, giving an excellent account of themselves and of their school. As there were no other Y3/4 teams there, we were forced to mix our Y3/4 and Y5/6 pupils into two teams and both sides played some great football. Between the two teams, only one game was lost and we managed to come away from the tournament with a trophy once more, leaving us with a great record of two tournaments and two trophies this year!
